La chandeleur with Cookingwithwords

Sure enough, we had a meal of crêpes for the Chandeleur.We made them on my crêpe maker called billig in breton.The guests managed to make their own crêpes before filling them; In Brittany, we can eat 2 or more savory crêpes before starting with dessert. We had a lot of fillings to choose from. The favorite was "la complète" ham,egg and cheese; But we also had mushrooms,bacon, salmon, scallops in béchamel etc.

For the sweet crêpes, we could choose from salted butter caramel, lemon, honey, chocolate,jam....  With breton cider, of course!
