FOLLOW IN THE FOOTSTEPS of JORGE BONG better known as JEAN -LUC BANNALEC

Brittany seen by Jean-Luc Bannalec

Jean-Luc Bannalec , in spite of his very Breton pseudonym is actually a German writer named Jôrge Bong. He fell in love with Brittany during his holidays there in 1980 and now spends 3 months a year there.. He used his pseudo to write his Brittany Mystery books; His books are well written mystery novels and follow the cases of Commissaire Dupin in different places of Brittany for example Pont-Aven where Gauguin lived or in the Glénans and its immaculate beaches.

We'll follow in his footsteps and first go to Concarneau, a 30 minutes drive from Moêlan, where we'll take a boat to the Glénans for a walk around the island. we'll have a look at the sailing school and a drink at the bar which is Dupin's headquarters and where he eats lobster!

Then back to Concarneau where we can have a meal at the Amiral restaurant , the favorite place of Commissaire Dupin before visiting the walled city of Concarneau. Then back to Moêlan via Pont-Aven , another of Jean Luc Bannalec's favorite places!
