An hour's drive from Moêlan, Josselin castle, a majestic fortress dominates the canal and has been the home of the Rohan family for more than 10 centuries! The castle is still a residence of Josselin de Rohan who works tirelessly for its conservation.The original castle was destroyed in 1168 by King Henry the 2nd when the English were trying to claim Brittany as their territory.
